Who We Are
As a home-based childcare center, KD Academy Early Learning Center, LLC, originally known as “The Kiddie Depot,” opened its doors in August 2005 and serves kids from 6 weeks to 12 years old. The Kiddie Depot expanded its business model into a 3000 square foot commercial space in August 2012, and by the third quarter of that same year, it was running at full capacity. As the market began to demand longer service hours, the company soon saw new prospects. We made the decision to match the demand and start offering service around-the-clock for working parents regardless of the work schedule after realizing the obvious need for high-quality service. We take pleasure in being Kansas City’s only childcare center that is open 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday and offer Saturday care until 6pm.
